Mike is a senior nursing student and the President of LSNA. This past summer he worked as student nurse intern at the Cancer Treatment Centers of America in Zion, Ill. He is also a member of the Luther College soccer team and is involved in research with his professor Jayme Nelson, RN, APRN. Mike is still unsure what area of nursing he wants to pursue after graduating this May.

Email: gramma01@luther.edu
Mallory is one of the LSNA fundraising co-chairs during the academic year of 2012-13. This past summer Mallory was able to study community nursing in Nottingham, England. It was a very valuable experience to be able to study nursing abroad and learn about a different healthcare system first hand. Mallory is involved in a variety of groups on campus besides LSNA, including some Student Activities Committees and Alpha Phi Omega. Mallory's career aspirations include working in pediatrics or in a neonatal intensive care unit of a hospital, but she is open to gaining experience in a variety of other areas as well.

Maria Brown
Email: browma04@luther.edu
Maria is a senior nursing student and the leader of the LSNA Newsletter. This past summer she worked as an intern at the Public Health Department in Sparta, Wis., developing an educational program for diabetics and assisting in other department activities. Through the newsletters and website Maria hopes fellow nursing students will feel the support system of the Luther nursing program as well as gain an understanding that in nursing, the possibilities are endless. Maria doesn't know where she wants to end up but she would like to participate in international nursing and/or mission nursing at some point in her career.
