Love reading? Love learning more about Africa through literature? Join this fun new book club at Preus focused on reading African literature for enjoyment and lifelong learning.

Our first book is Coconut by Kopano Matlwa, "An important rumination on youth in modern-day South Africa, [which] tells the story of two extraordinary young women who have grown up black in white suburbs and must now struggle to find their identities." Coconut is available from Preus both as an e-book and in a printed copy which will be on reserve.

Come find out what the club is all about at our introductory meeting. Part of the meeting will be a demonstration of how to access the e-book on various devices (laptop, iPad, Kindle, etc.), so please bring a device with you if you are interested in this option.

Snacks will be provided.
