Want to learn more about how to utilize the Preus Library ebook collections as part of your research and teaching? Please attend one or both of these brown bag workshops held in Mott from 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.

Accessing eBooks: Device & Downloading Options (11 to 11:45 a.m.)

Librarian Ryan Gjerde will review how to identify and interact with various eBook collections available through Preus Library. Key points to include: access via web browsers, downloading options for sections and full-text.

Annotating eBooks (11:45 a.m to 12:30 p.m.)

For faculty who understand the basics of accessing ebooks from the Preus collections, this is your opportunity to learn more about annotation options from both web browsers and apps in mobile devices. Librarian Jennifer Rian will review how to highlight and take notes inside ebooks and demonstrate options for exporting that information.
