Course evaluation reports will be finalized the week of June 8 on Google Drive. It is important to note that prior to the week of June 8, you may see Google placeholders for these “work in progress” reports, but please do not access them. LIS will announce when the reports are ready to be viewed.

5/12/15: This morning the rollout of our new LCGuest network has continued. The new LCGuest network is now active in Brandt, CFA,CFL Facilities, Heating Plant, Storre Theatre, Ockham House, Jenson, Koren, Larsen, Loyalty, Olin, Regents Center, Sampson Hoffland, Valders, Union, Ylvisaker, Farwell, and Olson.

Koren Classrooms 216, 217, and 218 now each have their own wireless access point. Previously they shared one access point that was located in the hallway outside of room 218. This improvement will allow more simultaneous wireless users in these classrooms and improve overall network performance.

LIS Council is the leadership team within LIS. Operational reports given this week were Software Development and Archives. Among the topics discussed were CLAC Conference 2015, Presidents Strategic Initiatives - LIS Inputs and Funding YE Special Purchases.
Today we're beginning to rollout a new LCGuest network. The rollout begins with the Main and Library buildings. The network is now active in these locations. Pending not finding any problems the new LCGuest will activated on the rest of campus on Tuesday May 12.

This morning, the following message regarding H Drive Removal was sent to all students who are graduating May 2015. Any questions about the process should be directed to the LIS Technology Help Desk at x1000 or online at help.luther.edu
As you have, or are soon to be, graduated and are now a Luther alumni, the Network Drive space (known as the H Drive) you’ve been provided through LIS will be removed to make room for next year’s incoming students. H Drives will be permanently removed on October 20, 2015. It is advisable you move your files prior to that date. This does NOT affect your ability to use Norse Mail.
LIS was notified at 9am on Monday May 4th that vpnweb.luther.edu is currently unavailable. If available, please use the FortiClient from Luther-owned workstations as LIS works to restore access. For more information please contact the LIS Technology Help Desk.
