Network Sentry Upgrade Delayed Again

Update: The upgrade that was planned for this morning (2/5) has been delayed again based on the advice of the software vendor. Their recommendation is that we wait for their next software release.

Update: The upgrade that was planned for this morning (2/1) was not completed. It has been delayed until Friday 2/5/16 at 7:00AM.

On Monday, February 1 starting at 6AM, LIS will be upgrading the software on our Bradford Networks Network Sentry System. During a small portion of the upgrade process computers may be unable to register for access to the campus network and connections to the LCWireless, LCWireless5G and LCSecure wireless networks during that time may experience service disruptions. The LCGuest network will not be affected by the upgrade and will be available the entire time. The upgrade process is expected to be completed before 8:00AM. For updates on this upgrade see http://www.luther.edu/lis/blog/
