Professional Positions

Acquisitions & Resource Management Librarian
The Acquisitions & Resource Management Librarian will provide leadership for library technical services including acquisitions, cataloging, interlibrary loan, and serials and subscriptions management, and is a member of the Library Staff within Library & Information Services (LIS).

Responsibilities of the Acquisitions & Resource Management Librarian include coordinating all aspects of the workflow within technical services; supporting the work of the technical services staff; performing original cataloging and classification of materials; maintaining knowledge of metadata schemas, metadata standards and cataloging tools; supervising the collection and use of technical services statistics; and participating in the library budgeting process. Review of applications will begin on April 20, 2015, with the position to start no later than August 3, 2015. 

College Archivist
The College Archivist provides key leadership and operational development for the Luther College archival collections, college records management programs and practices, and other services related to the history and documentation of Luther College and the greater Luther community. Review of applications will begin March 2, and will continue until the position is filled.
