Home Sweet Home

During J-Term 2018, 286 students and 29 program leaders will participate in one of Luther's 17 courses around the globe. Although it's impossible to keep up with everyone, these blogs are designed to provide glimpses into our students' adventures.

Take a look at the course descriptions, itineraries, and leaders to learn the details of each exciting trip. Most importantly, read the blogs to experience life alongside our traveling students.

J-Term Highlights

Check out these highlighted posts about unforgettable moments, lessons learned, and life-changing experiences!

On Friday we traveled in the van to Albuquerque. We all packed in and made our way east to Albuquerque. Once there, we returned our rental van and settled into our hotel. We all split off and grabbed food and explored around town for a little while. Albuquerque is quite charming and there was a lot to see including the University of New Mexico campus. After, we settled in for the night and got some rest for the long travel day ahead.

It was an early morning on Saturday with a 5:00 a.m. wake up call. We all packed into the shuttle and headed to the airport. Once there we grabbed a bite to eat and caught our plane to the Dallas Fort-Worth airport. After a short layover in Texas, we caught our plane to Minneapolis. We were greeted by families, cold temps, and snow. Everyone made it home safely but we were sad to say goodbye to our temporary home in New Mexico.
