Well, after a short time in York, we spent today traveling to Edinburgh, which is the capitol of Scotland. Some spent the morning doing one last walk in York before we met as a group and walked to the train station. For several it was their first time on a train, so this was a good experience for them. We enjoyed having conversation and observing some great sights, including the sea and many many sheep!
The trip went very smoothly and, before we knew it, we were in Edinburgh. It was a short walk to the bed and breakfast where we are staying. The group then dispersed to explore the city. My group went and did exploring before dinner and a little shopping in town. I myself found some Scottish chocolate to find and some gifts for people back home. While we were wandering, it started snowing which made everything a little prettier! We ended our night by dropping in on a couple of pubs to listen to some live folk music. One of the pubs did not have anyone show, but the other was a good time, and the group enjoyed the evening of music and fun. Free day in Edinburgh tomorrow!
