    • ITS General Planning
      • We discussed the agenda. We have Nathan Campbell arriving at 2:45 for a demo on the Baker Energy Tracking for ITS General on March 6th. We discussed a number of items for which a team update would be appropriate. Diane Gossman will explore with members of the User Services team the possibility for sharing some information about the ePortfolio/Google sites portion of the Sophomore Initiative.
  • Returning Items
    • Ellucian and Content
      • We discussed the issues we are having with the new Ellucian support and browser compatibility and a second issue with browsers issues for Content. Current solutions suggested by the vendors are cumbersome. We discussed how to leverage our peers also using these solutions and potential escalations to encourage the vendors to work for better long term solutions.
    • Year End Project Planning
      • We reviewed reviewed current investment plans for year end and summer projects. We decided to purchase the 2 additional servers for the VM server farm ensuring their compatibility with the others maximizers all we can do with VMWare.
  • ITS Operational Reports
    • Network and Systems
      • Update on Towers Wireless Project
        • The parts have been ordered for the Towers wireless upgrade. The plan is to install Miller floors 1-4 during Spring Break. The team plans to do a test install in an available room. This will help us with more detailed planning for the project. Some emergency phone work may happen at the same time if timing works.
      • Update on Data Center Energy Project
        • We discussed the possibility for making progress with augmented staffing.
    • User Services
      • Update on Classroom AV projects
        • Diane Gossman discussed progress and work remaining on the set of big room projects underway. Diane is helping support and coordinate the projects while Bob Erickson is out. Loyalty Boardroom technology upgrade underway February 26 - March 2. Training planned for Friday, March 2.
      • Sophos Update
        • Cleanup continues as time permits
      • Lynda.luther.edu
        • We reviewed some of the early usage statistics associated with the campus wide access pilot underway during the spring semester.
        • We discussed progress on integrating lynda with moodle and plans for specific communications to groups that might find the content useful to their work.
      • Giving Day Live Stream Planning
        • A 12 hour live stream is planned for Thurs, March 8.
      • Multimedia Training Sessions
        • Sessions were held last week and more are being conducted this week.
        • Additional sessions are scheduled for March.
      • Oneota Film Festival
        • Planning is starting for the April 19-22 event.
      • Commencement 2018
        • Planning has started.
