  • Returning Items
    • Update on Service Level Agreement for New APC Application
      • Kent Lee is now Computer Science Department Head. Kevin Kraus will talk to Kent Lee about continuing the support relationship for this student project. The model had been that each term/year a groups of students would support this application fixing problems and enhancing it. This is valuable to students because it is important that employees be able to parachute into others’ code, make sense of it and fix and enhance it. This provides that learning experience. If the arrangement is not able to be continued we will need to seek out an alternative solution.
    • PaaS
      • The proposal is largely in place and evaluation is underway. In parallel we are beginning to think through what a deployment project would look like including communications and the various pieces of technical work, dependences, and scheduling. Work includes network setup for all new devices (NetSys work). We assume Ricoh will install device drivers for faculty/staff workstations. Updates to print serving/accounting may or may not be required depending on the device and its features.
