    • LISAAC Representative
      • Dean’s office is looking for candidates for student representative for LISAAC. We are looking for a rising Junior. Send candidate names to Ryan and Paul.
    • Cyber Security Training
      • Jan Cordell attended the Cyber Security and Title IV training in Minneapolis on Monday. It was targeted to those that work in financial aid. Jan said it included lots of ITS suggestions so she will share out the materials with ITS.
    • Clark-3 Server
      • Clark-3 is an aging server. The cost of hardware maintenance is high and it is on our list to retire. Recently it has been “putting us on notice” that it’s time to replace it reporting hard drive/RAID issues. Jean and Adam will work on getting a new physical server set up to be the new Clark.
  • Returning Items
    • Update on Service Level Agreement for New APC Application
      • Marcia shared an update from Brad 8/3/17 on his progress to make the application ready for production for this year
    • Update on Residence Hall Phone Proposal
      • We discussed the need to get emergency phones in Brandt before students arrive to live there.
  • ITS Operational Reports
    • Network & Systems
      • Adam shared information on the demand on our Internet pipes in recent history including during RAGBRAI day. He also shared a number of updates on the summer wireless and wired network projects and the remaining work to do prior to the start of the year. He also reviewed the new implementation plan for Zumbro Lutheran in Rochester where our nursing program has classroom and office spaces. CenturyLink had been our vendor but they have been replaced for lack of execution on our agreements. Adam also shared he will have a job shadower for a day to learn about the job of a Director of Network and Systems.
