Phi Alpha Theta Induction

Ten new students joined Phi Alpha Theta this semester and received the symbol of the organization, the red rose, to commemorate the occasion. (Three new members were unable to attend). Mark Singer gave an address on his research and methodology, discussing in particular questions of grave goods in medieval England cemeteries. He asked, what do grave goods, associated with pagan funerals, mean during the period of Christian conversion, especially when graves included both Roman-style goods and Christian items such as crosses?"
