Come and listen to a new member of the history department, Anna Peterson, give a talk about her experiences researching the development of maternity legislation in Norway on Tuesday November 5 at 6 pm in Koren 217. Professor Peterson will detail the exciting and frustrating process of combing the archives looking for answers to her most basic research question: how were women involved in the creation of welfare policies in Norway – a country now known for its high levels of gender equality, social cohesion and standards of living?
