College Science Enrichment Program

Students present their work.

The College Science Enrichment Program is a science and math immersion experience for incoming students. First-year students are exposed to day-long science and math projects and work with faculty on research. During the afternoons and evenings, upperclass mentors spend time discussing the ins and outs of college life.

Our program includes...

  • networking activities with students, faculty, and staff on campus;
  • lab experiences with a short research project;
  • panels with student mentors on what to expect as a first-year science student and summer research programs at Luther;
  • and a host of fun cohort building activities including canoeing, scavenger hunts, etc.

Students who participate in the program feel more prepared and confident for their first month of classes as well as more connected to peers in their programs.
