There are three video conferencing tools that are supported by ITS. They include Google Hangouts, Skype, and GoToMeeting.
We recommend using Google Hangouts (up to 15 people) or Skype (up to 25 people) for video conferencing sessions. When you're wanting a more structured, controlled environment, GoToMeeting (up to 100 people) is ideal. Google Hangouts and Skype sessions may be initiated by the Luther community at any time; GoToMeeting sessions require advance notification and setup by ITS.
For more information on each of these options, see the information below or contact the Technology Help Desk.
If you would like to request assistance for a Google Hangout or Skype session, or aren't sure which type of video conference will best meet your needs, enter your request online at help.luther.edu. If you would like to request assistance for a GoToMeeting session, click on the GoToMeeting link above and complete the form.
