Yes. All users will have access to the Norse Apps Start Page, a portal page designed as a launching point for accessing web-based services at Luther.

Q4: Can www.decorahnews.com or www.msn.com be added to the Norse Start Page?

Websites that do not include RSS Feeds may be included using the Enhanced BookMarks widget. To add the website to the start page, open the Start Page, on the right side of the screen click the button Add stuff. In the search bar, type in “add a website” then click Search Homepage Content, and then add the Enhanced Bookmarks widget. Once you add it, go back to your Start Page. Click on Add Bookmark, enter a name and URL for your website, and then click Add.

Q5: How do I set the Norse Start Page as my homepage?

It’s easy to set the Norse Start Page as your home page.

In Firefox, click on Tools, then select Options…. In the Main tab, enter “http://start.luther.edu” into the text box next to Home Page: and click OK.

In Internet Explorer, click on Tools, then select Internet Options. In the General tab, enter “http://start.luther.edu” into the text box next to Home page and click OK.
