Clearing Your Cache

Steps to clear your Internet browser cache for Firefox, Internet Explorer, Safari and Google Chrome.

Firefox

  1. Click the Menu Button in the top right corner of the browser.
  2. Choose Options.
  3. Select the Advanced icon.
  4. Click on the Network tab.
  5. In the Cached Web Content section click Clear Now.
  6. Close the options window.

Internet Explorer

  1. Click on the Settings Icon in the top right and choose Internet Options.
  2. Click on General and then select Delete under the Browsing History section.
  3. Make sure Temporary Internet files and website files and Cookies and website data are checked.
  4. Click Delete. The files will then be delete (this may take a few minutes).
  5. Restart Internet Explorer.

Safari

  1. Click on Safari and select Preferences.
  2. Select the Advanced Tab and check the Show Develop Menu in Menu Bar box.
  3. Close the preferences window.
  4. Choose the Developer menu.
  5. Select Empty Caches.
  6. Click on the Safari menu and select Reset Safari.
  7. Click OK

Google Chrome

  1. Click on the Menu Button in the top right corner of the browser.
  2. Select Settings.
  3. Click on History.
  4. Click Clear Browsing Data.
  5. Select the time range (i.e. ‘the beginning of time’).
  6. Check Cached images and files and Cookies and other site and plug-in data.
  7. Click Clear Browsing Data.
