'The Life and Music of Theodora Cormontan' performance set for April 2

As part of the continuing effort to pay homage to its strong Norwegian roots, Luther College will host a performance in honor of a highly accomplished Norwegian composer. "The Life and Music of Theodora Cormontan" will take place at 7 p.m. Tuesday, April 2, in the Noble Recital Hall of the Jenson-Noble Hall of Music on the Luther campus.

'Music in the Shape of a Pear': Luther College to host semi-annual music event

The Decorah High School Concert Choir will join seven Luther faculty and six Luther students for the Luther College semi-annual "Music in the Shape of a Pear" concert. Steve Smith, Luther composition and electronic music faculty member, will direct this spring's concert at 8 p.m. Sunday, March 17, in the Noble Recital Hall of the Jenson-Noble Music Hall on the Luther campus.

Luther College Symphony Orchestra to perform March 17

The Luther College Symphony Orchestra will present an early spring concert at 4 p.m. Sunday, March 17, in the Main Hall of the Center for Faith and Life. Symphony Orchestra is conducted by Daniel Baldwin, professor of music and director of orchestras at the college.
