'The Cat in the Hat'

From the moment his striped hat appears around the door, Sally and her brother know that the Cat in the Hat is the funniest, most mischievous cat they have ever met. With the trickiest of tricks and the craziest of ideas, he turns a rainy afternoon into an amazing adventure. But what will Mom find when she comes home?

With a performance teaching children about caring, fairness, responsibility and trustworthiness, Theatreworks USA presents "The Cat in the Hat" at 10 a.m. and 12:30 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 9, in the Main Hall of the Center for Faith and Life on the Luther College campus.

The performance is recommended for children in kindergarten to fourth grade. Area schools have seating priority for school matinees; community members are welcome as space is available. Each show is approximately one hour in length.
