School Matinee Performance Series: Stuart Little comes to Luther March 20

Luther College invites the community to watch the stage production of "Stuart Little," the beloved children's story about a talking mouse born to a human family in New York City, presented by the Dallas Children's Theatre.

Part of Luther's 2013-14 School Matinee Series, "Stuart Little" will be presented at 10 a.m. and 12:30 p.m. Thursday, March 20, in the Center for Faith and Life Main Hall on the Luther campus.

Based on the book written by E. B. White, "Stuart Little" tells the story of Stuart Little, a mouse learning to adapt to the super sized human world of New York City. His life becomes a series of adventures and misadventures, discovering the meaning of life loyalty and friendship along the way.

Tickets are $2 for all ages, available at the Luther College Ticket Office. Area schools have seating priority for the matinee performances. For more information on ticket sales, contact the Luther College Ticket Office at (563) 387-1293, or Bradley Phillips, Ticket Office manager at phillibr@luther.edu.

The performance is supported by kid-friendly sponsors Winneshiek Medical Center, Mayo Clinic Health System and Luther College.

The Dallas Children's Theatre is a non-profit regional theater. Each year, they produce up to 11 fully staged shows for children, tweens and families annually. The company has been designated as an American Masterpieces Touring Artist by the National Endowment for the Arts and recognized by TIME Magazine as one of the top five theatres in the United States performing for young audiences and families.
