Nicholas Kelley, a 2006 Luther College graduate, has been named a 2012 fellow in the Emerging Leaders in Biosecurity initiative at the Center for Biosecurity at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center.
Kelley is a research associate for the BioWatch program and is Preparedness Program Coordinator at the Center for Infectious Disease Research and Policy at the University of Minnesota.
He researches, writes and updates overviews on potential agents of bioterrorism and works on pandemic preparedness, focusing his research on vaccines and on supply chain vulnerabilities.
Kelley holds the bachelor of arts degree in biology from Luther, the master of arts and doctoral degrees from the University of Minnesota.
