LASO to sponsor Take a Kid to a Game for Norse football action Nov. 6

Luther Athletes Serving Others will sponsor Take a Kid to a Game day on Saturday, Nov. 6, 1-4 p.m. at Carlson Stadium.

LASO invites children in kindergarten through fifth grade to attend the Luther football game against the University of Dubuque and sit in the stands with Luther student-athletes. 

The event is open to area children with no charge for admission.

To enroll a child in the Nov. 6 Take a Kid to a Game, call or send an email message to Will Maddox, Luther College assistant men's soccer coach, (563) 387-1799 or email [email protected].

Check-in time for participants will be 1 p.m. in the circle drive in front of the Regents Center, located on Luther’s lower campus.

The football game begins at 1 p.m. Hot chocolate and cookies will be provided for participating children during halftime.

Parents should pick up their children in the Regents Center lobby after the game.

LASO members remind parents that the game day could be cold and windy, and children should wear weather-appropriate clothing.

Take a Kid to a Game is a national program endorsed by the NCAA. Luther’s Take a Kid to a Game events are sponsored and conducted by LASO, an organization of Luther student-athletes from the college’s 19 intercollegiate sports programs for men and women.
