Oct. 15, 2010

The Luther College physics department will host its annual "Haunted Lab" on Saturday, Oct. 30, featuring spooky hands-on science demonstrations that will entertain people of all ages.

The family-oriented Haunted Lab will be from 6-9 p.m. on the first floor of Valders Hall of Science on the Luther campus. Visitors may enter the lab at any time during the three-hour show.

Use the southeast entrance on the lowest level of Valders. Signs will guide visitors to the Haunted Lab.

Luther physics department faculty and students invite community members to stop by and experience the thrill of optical illusions, laser displays, magnetic levitation, and other physics wonders.

The Haunted Lab's team of "science ghosts" promise the events will be fun for all visitors, including students and young children.
