Luther College invites the greater Decorah community to take part in the holiday fun of the annual “Christmas in Dahl Centennial Union” celebration Wednesday, Dec. 9 on the Luther campus.
From 4:30-6:30 p.m. families can enjoy cookie decorating, hot chocolate and cider, holiday movies, crafts, and performances by a variety of Luther singing groups.
All activities will be on the first floor of Dahl Centennial Union. The event is open to the public with no charge for admission.
Family-oriented activities for people of all ages will include pictures with Santa Claus by the fireplace in the Union Lobby from 5-6:30 p.m.
Luther Dining Services invites everyone to a Holiday Dinner in the cafeteria, price is $8.50 for adults, $4.25 for children ages 5-10, no charge for children four and under.
Come to the Book Shop, open 8:45 a.m.-6:30 p.m., to vote for your favorite holiday house creation. The Holiday House contest encourages Luther faculty, staff and students to use any materials they can find to create a miniature holiday-themed house.
View the creative entries between 8:45 a.m. and 3 p.m. Voting ends at 3 p.m. and the winner will be announced at 3:30 p.m. in the Book Shop.
