Eligibility: Second-semester sophomores, juniors, seniors; 3.0 minimum GPA

Financial aid:
Students should refer to the Financial Aid Office for information on financial aid eligibility. Students who receive Pell Grants as a portion of their financial aid package are also eligible to apply for a Gilman Scholarship (competitive). Information and applications are available at www.iie.org/gilman. Students may also apply for a Wigeland Scholarship for Study in Scandinavia through Luther College. Please note: application for the Wigeland must be made in the fall semester of the year before study on the program.

The Telemark program offers students the opportunity to study at a Norwegian college in English and to study Norwegian language at various levels. Course topics include Telemark culture, environmental philosophy, emigration from Telemark, images of the United States in Norway, Norwegian language, cross-cultural communications, and environmental issues in Norway.
