Enrollment: 8-10 students (2 from Luther)

Eligibility: juniors and seniors; minimum 2.5 GPA

Program fee: Luther comprehensive fee plus airfare (fee covers tuition, room, and board)

Financial aid:
Students should refer to the Luther Financial Aid Office for information on financial aid eligibility. Students may also be eligible to apply for the Benjamin A. Gilman International Scholarship and the NSEP Scholarship. Applications and information are available from the Institute for International Education. Students should also check on outside scholarships.

Application deadline: February 1

The LCCT program offers students the opportunity to study Kiswahili for four weeks and to enroll in regular classes at the University of Dar es Salaam for the fall term. In addition to university classes, the LCCT assigns coursework relevant to the program. A week-long orientation is conducted by the LCCT prior to arrival at the university. Students live in university residence halls and take their meals on campus in the dining hall or coffee shops.
