The Telemark program at Telemark University College offers students the opportunity to study at a Norwegian college in English and to study Norwegian language at various levels. Course options include Telemark Regional Identity, Alpine Ecology, Ecophilosophy, Tourism and the Environment, Coastal and Maritime Norway, Sustainability Management and Norwegian language, among others.

Eligibility: Second-semester sophomores, juniors, seniors; 3.0 minimum GPA

Financial aid:
Students should refer to the Financial Aid Office for information on financial aid eligibility. Students who receive Pell Grants as a portion of their financial aid package are also eligible to apply for a federal Gilman Scholarship (competitive). Students may also apply for a Wigeland Scholarship for Study in Scandinavia through Luther College. Please note: application for the Wigeland must be made in the fall semester of the year before study on the program.
