New and Enhanced Student Scholarships

Luther College is committed to keeping the four-year undergraduate experience affordable for all students. The primary and lasting means of accomplishing this ideal is through endowed scholarship support for deserving students. Funding a permanently endowed scholarship requires an outright commitment of $25,000 or more. Possible giving options:

• Create a new named scholarship at $25,000 or more
• Enhance an existing named scholarship with an additional gift of $25,000 or more
• Enhance an existing named scholarship with an additional gift of any amount

Student Scholarship Support for Study Abroad

Luther strives to ensure every student the opportunity to study away from campus, but in reality this experience is often out of reach for many of our students. Similar to Luther’s traditional need-based scholarship funding, creating a study-abroad scholarship also requires a minimum of $25,000 to establish. A donor may fund such a scholarship through outright support or through a planned gift.
