Endowed Lectureship $250,000
An endowed lectureship is usually named by the donor and is held by a faculty member who has demonstrated exceptional teaching skills and insightful knowledge of subject matter. An endowed lectureship exists in perpetuity.
The lectureship provides funds for the annual salary support for a Luther professor, associate professor, or assistant professor. The annual earnings from the endowment can be also used to fund the teaching costs of a specific course, or a specific area of study, including support for a guest lecture or speaker series.
