Exciting News! Luther announces a $250,000 challenge from an anonymous donor to match increases and new gifts to the Luther College Annual Fund (LCAF), up to $50,000 in each of the next five years. Tuition and fees cover only 90% of expenses. The remainder must be raised through gift support and endowment earnings. Your support is key to helping today's students.
What is the Leadership Trust?
The Leadership Trust is a leadership giving society which recognizes contributions of $1,000 or more to the Luther College Annual Fund in a given year. All donors who entrust the college with annual unrestricted gifts at this level become members of this giving society.
What is the Luther Loyalty Society?
The Luther Loyalty Society includes those who invest consistently in the lives of Luther students. Support each and every year is important to the annual giving program as it allows the college to sustain teaching, learning, and living at Luther without interruption. Those who make gifts of any size to the Annual Fund in 5 or more consecutive years become members of this society, begun in 2006 to recognize Luther's most loyal donors. Recognition for young alumni will begin one year after graduation.

The annual fund enhances teaching, learning, and living at Luther. This means your dollars make possible additional student scholarships, improvements to campus buildings, expanded faculty and student programs, stronger cocurricular activities, updated technology and equipment—everything that maintains and enhances life at Luther.

You and other alumni who show your trust and support by making frequent and generous gifts to the annual fund increase our percentage of alumni giving. This percentage of participation is an important indicator used by corporations and foundations when making grants to education, and in institutional rankings, such as those in US News and World Reports.
