Hello! I'm Deb Fordice. I currently serve as the head of the education department as well as teach a few education courses.

Kurt Hahn, the founder of Outward Bound, emphasized, "We are crew, not passengers." This encapsulates my beliefs about what constitutes an effective learning environment. I believe that students and teachers should collaboratively question how the world works and their roles within it. All members of the classroom community should contribute to the greater good of that community by helping each other build positively upon the experiences of themselves and others.
