Bill Fordice is an Instructor of Music Education at Luther College. He holds the Master of Music Education degree from Northern Illinois University where he studied conducting under Eric Johnson. He received his Bachelor of Arts degree in music from Luther College, where he studied with Weston Noble. 

Mr. Fordice is a member of the American Choral Directors Association, The National Association for Music Education, and has served on the board of the Iowa Choral Directors.

Mr. Fordice was previously a music teacher in the Dubuque Community School District. He taught choral music at Stephen Hempstead High School from 1990 – 2007 when he became the K-5 music teacher at George Washington Carver Elementary. Mr. Fordice’s choirs performed in festivals throughout the Midwest and Canada. Concurrent with his tenure in Dubuque schools, Mr. Fordice taught music education courses at Clarke University.

Bill Fordice has taught Foundations of Music Education, Introduction to Conducting, Introduction to Music Education, and Elementary and Middle School General Music Methods where he created a partnership with the Decorah Community Schools. Additionally, Dr. Fordice has supervised teacher candidates throughout their practicum experiences.
