Spring Student Work/Intern Positions

The Fine Arts Collection is looking for one student curatorial intern for the spring semester 2015.  Below is a list of information regarding the position, including a short job description and hours that need to be available in your schedule. To apply, please fill out the job application listed on the Fine Arts Collection website  http://www.luther.edu/fine-arts/Student-Employment/ and prepare a resume with two references to be delivered to Dr. Kate Elliott by Friday, December 12, 2014. These can be submitted electronically to ellika03@luther.eduor directly to her office, CFA 104 (office suites).

Student Curatorial Intern:

  • Works closely with both Galleries and the Fine Arts Collection
  • Will take on a special exhibition project for the 2015 Alumni Reunion Show – identifying pieces that can be featured in the library during homecoming next fall (2015).
  • Will assist in accessioning works to the collection
  • Will handle other basic curatorial and research requests as needed.

Availability:

Student must be available on Tuesdays and Thursdays between the hours of 8:00am and 5:30pm, and must be able to work at least 4 hours a week.
