AFCEA Iowa Chapter STEM Scholarship
The Iowa Chapter of The Armed Forces Communications and Electronics Association is awarding three $1,000 scholarships to students who are pursuing STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Math) related majors. This scholarship is open to U.S. citizens who are upcoming sophomore, junior or senior students with at least a 3.0 GPA. Czech Heritage Foundation Scholarship
The Czech Heritage Foundation, Inc has scholarship funds available to applicants who have a Czech/Slovak ancestry. Applicants must have completed a minimum of one year as a full-time post-secondary student (or have a minimum of 28 credit hours completed) and be currently enrolled as a full-time student. The applicant must be an Iowa resident and their home address is required to be within 100 miles of Cedar Rapids, IA. Recipients of the scholarship must participate in festivals throughout the year. Rotary District 5970 Scholarship
Rotary District 5970 (roughly the northern half of Iowa) is sponsoring three $5,000 District Grant Scholarships for the 2013-14 academic year. Applicants must be sponsored by their local District 5970 Rotary Club or by the local District 5970 Rotary Club in the community where their college is located. Sedary & Associates Scholarship
The Sedary & Associates $500 scholarship is open to students between the ages of 16-22 who will be enrolled in college no later than the Fall of 2013. Applicants must apply by June 15, 2013 online at http://www.burnabylawyers.ca/.
Lift Parts Express Scholarship
LPE is offering a $1,000 scholarship to students who are either current high school seniors or college freshmen or sophomores. The applicant must be a legal resident of the United States or Canada and enroll in college by the Fall of 2013. Picture the Internet Scholarship
This $1,000 scholarship from FrontierBundles.com asks applicants to create an image that metaphorically represents what the Internet means to them. This scholarship is open to U.S. citizens and permanent residents who will be undergraduate students during the 2013-14 academic year. Applicants must have a 2.5 cumulative grade point average. Hovland Scholarship
This $1,000 scholarship is open to students who will be entering their junior year in the fall of 2013. Students must be of Norwegian descent, with preference given to applicants from the Bomlo Community of Norway.
