Luther has a long history of supporting and encouraging off-campus studies. Our goal is to make it possible for every student who dreams about studying off-campus to be able to fulfill that dream. Luther works hard to keep off-campus program costs manageable. We know, however, that this experience may be beyond the financial reach for some students.
In an effort to make off-campus study a reality for more students, Luther is actively raising funds from donors to endow off-campus scholarships. The fundraising is part of the college's Sesquicentennial Campaign; the goal is an endowed fund of $2.5 million in new scholarships. Once we reach this goal, we will be able to able to provide approximately $125,000 in annual off-campus scholarships to eligible students.
Each spring, students may apply for off-campus scholarship consideration. This process has now been completed for the 2014-15 academic year.
