Facilites Employee of the Quarter

Lyle Barth

Terry Ollendieck is the Employee of the Quarter for January-March 2012.

Terry is a carpenter and handyman at the Facilities Office. During a typical day he visits faculty and staff offices and student rooms to fix things that are broken and have been submitted in a work order.

Terry has been at Luther for 8 1/2 years. Before becoming a carpenter at Facilities he was a mover.

Terry is married to his wife Ann and has one son and two step-daughters. Besides working at Luther he also owns two businesses in Ridgeway; Plantation Vinyl and T&A's Lounge.

Jay Uthoff, Manager of Trade Services had this to say about Terry, "Terry has a lets get it done attitude and really enjoys the work he does. He makes a great addition to the Facilities Team."

Winners of the Employee of the Quarter get a framed picture of themselves with a gold name plate, $15 in Decorah Chamber Bucks, and their name on a larger plaque that hangs in the Facilities Office.

The Employee of the Quarter award was begun during the summer of 2011. Winners are chosen by popular vote among all Facilities employees. Previous winners include:
