Luther posted its second win in a row rolling to a 78-63 victory over University of Northwestern (MN) in St. Paul, Minn. The Norse jumped out to a 38-27 halftime lead and were never challenged the rest of the way.
John Androus had a huge night scoring a game high 26 points and collecting a game high 13 rebounds. Androus was 10-of-13 from the field and 6-of-7 from the free throw line. Ten of his total rebounds came on the defensive end of the floor.
Brian Nnaoji (14), Nathan Meyer (11) and Bradley Wilkins (10) completed the list of double digit scorers for the Norse.
The victory gives Luther an overall record of 6-3, while Northwestern fell to 3-5.
Luther will return to action on Friday, Dec. 20, when they will travel UW-River Falls. Game time is scheduled for 7:00 p.m.
