Luther rolled to a 47-point victory (96-49) over Barclay College (KS) in tonight's first game of the Snyder Classic hosted by Nebraska Wesleyan University.
Head Coach Mark Franzen played the entire bench and 13 different players scored. The Norse shot 57.1 percent that included an 11-of-34 effort from behind the three-point line.
Defensively, Luther held Barclay to 27.9 percent (17-61) and controlled the boards 51-26.
The school record for largest margin of victory was set in 1916 when Luther defeated Kee Watin Academy 79-2.
Luther will wrap up its trip to Lincoln, Neb., tomorrow afternoon when it will play Illinois Institute of Technology at 5:30 p.m. This game will be video streamed.
