Women's Soccer - IIAC Tournament - Semifinals vs. Dubuque

For the second time in as many years the University of Dubuque has knocked Luther out of the Iowa Conference Tournament.
Tonight, the Spartans Katie Lynn scored what proved to be the game winner at 64:14, assisted by Melanie Prudhomme. Lynn drove a cross pass from Prudhomme into the lower right corner of the Norse net for her seventh goal of the season.
Spartan goalkeeper Tiffany Duncan turned away six Norse shots on goal including two point blank inside the box late in the contest.
Dubuque entered tonight's match with a five game win streak and had not allowed a goal for 395 minutes. That total has now increased to six and 485. Tonight's shut out was Dubuque's fourth in a row.
The Spartans advance to the championships match for the second year in a row and will face the top seed Loras College on Saturday. Earlier today Loras defeated Wartburg 2-0.
Luther end's its season with an overall record of 9-9. Dubuque improves to 16-5-0.
