Luther placed 10th of 19 teams at the Mount Mercy Invitational this weekend. The two-day tournament was played at Hunters Ridge Golf Course, a par 72 that measured 5,809 yards.There were 104 golfers in the field.
The Norse posted a team total of 364-357-721. Grandview won the team title carding a 655, followed by Mount Mercy and William Penn at 657.
Laura Davis led the Norse finishing tied for 29th. Davis shot rounds of 87-89 for a 176. Completing the top five included Isabelle Krogh (T40th, 93-88-181), Madeline Petellin (T45th, 94-88-182), Annika Ring (T45th, 90-92-182), and Hannah Hagarty (T53, 94-92-186). Maddie Bouslog played as an individual and finished tied for 92nd (99-113-212).
Luther returns to action next weekend when they will travel to Waverly, Iowa for the Wartburg Invitational Sept. 7-8.
