Luther shot a final round of 299 and finished second at the Iowa Conference Championships. The Norse shot a four-round total of 1243 finishing behind Central College that shot 1215. Wartburg College was third at 1253.
Individually, Andrew Peter, who entered the final round with a 1-stroke lead, birdied two holes on each nine for matching 34s and a bogey-free 4-under 68. Peter finished with a 72-hole total of 293 to capture medalist and IIAC Men's Golfer of the Year honors by three strokes over Central's Justin Livingston (296). Peter is the first Norse IIAC Men's Golf MVP since Scott Theriault in 2000.
Tobias Kohl became only the fourth player in Norse history to earn all-conference honors three times. Kohl finished in a three-way tie for sixth at 306.
Matt Axelrod and Ben Kerns tied for 22nd posting a 325, while Joel Bruns finished 29th with a 329.
