Luther (2-0-2) kept its unbeaten streak alive thanks to a Jon Gednalske header off a corner kick by JW Slauson in the 84th minute. The goal tied the match at 1-1 with Nebraska Wesleyan (0-2-1) and proved to be the final outcome after 110 minutes of play. Gednalske's goal was his second of the season.

Nebraska Wesleyan took a 1-0 lead on an unassisted goal by Alex Thorson. The Prairie Wolves, who were out shot 33-7, were able to stay in the match thanks to the efforts of goal keeper Zach Mergens who was credited with 10 saves.

The Norse will return to action on Sunday, Sept. 9 when they will host the Scots of Macalester College at 4:00 p.m. This match will be video streamed.
