Luther claimed a share of the Iowa Conference lead after posting a 66-44 decision over previously unbeaten University of Dubuque.
The Norse shot 53 percent and at the defensive end of the floor held the Spartans to 29 percent, that included a 7-for-28 performance in the second frame.
Dane Larson led all scorers with 21 points, 14 of which came in the first half. Zach Matos-Pritchard tied his career high with 14 and Tim Merritt added 13. John Androus and Matos-Pritchard led all rebounds with eight and seven respectively.
Mitch Michaelis was the lone Spartan in double digits with 16. David Kushnir, Lee Piccinelli and Miles Hookstead all chipped in six apiece.
The win was Luther's second in a row and gives the Norse an Iowa Conference record of 6-1, 12-3 overall. Dubuque is now 6-1 as well in league play, 11-4 overall.
The Norse will travel to Central College on Wednesday, Jan. 18. This game will be audio streamed and will begin at 8:00 p.m.
