Head Coach Alex Smith posted his first career win as Luther defeated Carleton College 4-3 in Tucson, Arizona. 

Augie Lindmark picked up the win on the hill, allowing three runs on six hits while striking out two. After giving up three runs in the first frame, Lindmark held the Knights in check for six scoreless innings. Matt Reynolds was credited with the save allowing just one hit in the final two innings of play.

Kevin Bradley led the Norse offensive attack with two hits and scoring twice. Austen Graham and Andy Briggs each drove in runs.

Box score

The win gives Luther an overall record of 1-2. Carleton fell to 3-3. The Norse are schedule to play Hamline University tomorrow at 2:00 p.m.
