Host Millikin University shot 55 percent in the second half and outscored Luther 35-20, en route to a 69-46 victory, in the first game of the 2011 Harriett Crannell Holiday Classic. Luther led by as many as six points in the first half but entered the intermission trailing 34-26.
Taylor Johnson and Rachel Stenhaug tallied double digits for the Norse scoring 16 and 11 points respectively. Johnson also led the team with eight rebounds and three steals.
Millikin, who improved to 6-3, had four players produced double figures led by Crystal Zeigler who scored a game high 17.
The Norse (2-7) will wrap up their trip to Decatur, Ill., tomorrow, when they will play North Central (MN) at 3:00 p.m.
