Luther remained atop the Iowa Conference standings after posting a 73-61 victory over Buena Vista University in Regents Center this afternoon.
The Norse shot 47 percent from the field, while holding the Beavers to 43 percent. Luther also won the battle of the boards 35-26.
Dane Larson led all scorers with a season high 22 points, 17 of which came in the second half. Larson was 7-of-13 from the field and a perfect 6-for-6 from the charity stripe.
Zach Matos-Pritchard and Tim Merritt also reached double digits with 12 points apiece. John Androus fell one point shy with nine. Tyler Wedemeier led the squad with eight rebounds.
Buena Vista was led by the duo of Wes Nordquist and Michael Kaumann woth both tallied 14 points.
The victory increased Luther's Iowa Conference record to 4-0, 10-2 overall. Buena Vista fell to 2-2 in league play, 6-7 overall.
The Norse will return to action on Wednesday, Jan. 11, when they will host Coe College at 8:00 p.m. This game will be video streamed.
