Luther evened its record to 1-1 after defeating St. Olaf College 65-55 in its home opener.
Trailing 52-47 with a little over six minutes remaining in the game, the Norse put together a 18-3 run en route to the victory.
Luther's defensive effort was solid through out the game as it held St. Olaf to 35.8 percent from the field. The Norse also won the battle of the boards 37-33.
After shooting 35.7 percent in the first half, Luther found its touch in the second frame, connecting on over 54 percent of its attempts.
Dane Larson led the Norse with 14 points, eight of which came from the free throw line. Michael Crocker added 10 points off the bench. John Androus, who fell one point shy of double digits, collected a game high 11 rebounds.
The Oles were led by Bobby Fong with 23 points and Stu Neville with 11.
The Norse will return to action after Thanksgiving when they will travel to the Nebraska Wesleyan University Snyder Classic, Nov 25-26. Luther will play Webster University Nov. 25 and Concordia-Moorhead on Nov. 26. Both games will start at 5:50 p.m. and will be video streamed by NWU.
