Luther posted a 66-56 victory over Northwestern College in St. Paul, Minn. this evening. The win was Luther's second of the season and snapped a six-game losing streak.

Taylor Johnson recorded a double-double scoring 19 points and collecting 12 rebounds. Nellie Nelson also tallied double digits in rebounds with 11, and Rachel Stenhaug chipped in 10 points.

The Norse outscored the Eagles 36-20 in the paint and also dominated the boards 47-27.

Following finals next week, the Norse will travel to Millikin University (IL) for the Millikin Tournament. The Norse will play Millikin on Dec. 16 at 7:30 p.m. and North Central (MN) on the 17th at 3:00 p.m.
