Twenty-one teams played in the two-day St. John's University Fall Invitational. The first 18 holes was played at Greystone Golf Course, Sauke Centre, Minn., a par 72 that measured 7,059 yards. The final round was played at Blackberry Ridge Golf Course, Sartell, Minn., a par 72, 6,992 yard track.
Luther shot a two-day total of 644 and finished 12th. University of Manitoba won the team title with a 611, finishing one stroke ahead of host St. John's. Gustavus Adolphus was third at 617 and Concordia-Moorhead was fourth at 622.
Luther's five golfers and how they finished included Aaron Smith (T25th, 157), Tobias Kohl (T38th, 159), Joel Bruns (T58th, 166), Matthew Axelrod (T71st, 168) and Jack McLeod (T71st, 168). There was 115 golfers in the field.
The only other Iowa Conference school in the field was Wartburg that finished 17th with a 673.
Luther will continue its fall schedule at the two-day UW-Eau Claire Invitational Sept 25-26.
