Luther dropped a 3-0 decision to Viterbo University tonight in La Crosse, Wis. The V-Hawks posted set wins of 25-10, 25-19 and 25-15.
The Norse posted an attack percentage of .030, committing 21 attack errors, while posting 24 kills during the three sets.
Hannah Wilson led the Norse with eight kills, followed by Hannah Walker with four. Amanda Dietel was credited with 17 assists, while Blair Butler led the team with 13 digs.
This was the final non-conference match of the season. Luther finished this portion of its schedule with a record of 15-8 against non-conference opponents. It is 17-11 overall. Viterbo improved to 31-7.
Luther has three more Iowa Conference matches remaining in the next two weeks, beginning with its final home match of the season against Simpson College on Wednesday, Oct. 19. Start time is scheduled for 7:30 p.m.
Four of the six teams have already been decided for the Iowa Conference Tournament. Luther (2-3), Cornell (2-3), Simpson (1-5) and Dubuque (1-5) are all battling for the final two spots.
